The results are in from the No Reservations contest! And the winner is ... not me. (Sigh)
The winner was Danya Alhamrani, a Saudi-American originally from Bismarck, North Dakota. Her trip suggestion of traveling to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, was terrific. She wanted to dispel the myths and unravel the mysteries of the magic Kingdom and it's culinary delights. Damn! I want to go with her.
So what went wrong with my little masterpiece-of-crap? Well, there were two main problems with it. The first and most glaring is that I wanted to travel to a place I had never been before. How could I show someone around if I was lost myself? The second problem is that I never really let my true personality shine through the video. I should have watched my own Belize videos . I was much more relaxed and funny in them. Looks like I will be spending the month of May at home in Oregon.
